The 7th International Congress of Belarusian Studies Will Take Place on 15–17 September 2017

The dates and venue of the Seventh International Congress of Belarusian Studies have been announced.

The main Belarusian academic event will take place on 15–17 September 2017 in Warsaw.

The main academic partner on the Polish side will be Collegium Civitas (www.civitas.edu.pl (http://www.civitas.edu.pl))
Traditionally, the Congress will bring together about 500 scholars and experts from Belarus and other countries; discussions and presentations are expected, as well as the awarding of the Prize for the best scholarly publications for 2015 and 2016.

Congress preparation plan:
Call for applications to create sections and panels – from 16 January to 10 March 2017.

Call for nominations for the Congress Prize for the best scholarly publication for 2015–2016 – until 10 March 2017.

Determination of the preliminary list of sections – by 20 March.

Call for individual applications – until 10 May.

Determination of the final list of sections based on the call for individual applications – by 20 May.

Allocation of accommodation and transport subsidies – by 15 June.

Distribution of individual invitations – by 25 June.

Participants must confirm their participation by 5 July.

Preliminary Congress program – by 15 August.
