The anthology is expected to include texts by the most important representatives of the Lithuanian political and cultural movement, which formulate in concentrated form the idea of the Lithuanian nation, statehood, culture and history, and also reflect the goals and strategy of the Lithuanian “revival” (atgimimas).

The anthology will allow Belarusian readers to gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Lithuania, the idea of modern Lithuanian statehood, and will also open broad opportunities for comparing the intellectual history of the Belarusian and Lithuanian movements.

The anthology is planned for publication in spring 2012.
