Research Seminar on 28 March: “Bilateral Relations between Belarus and Lithuania during the Period of Independence, 1992–2012”

The Political Sphere research seminar serves as a space for professional communication and the exchange of ideas in the study of politics, the improvement of methodology and strategies for analysing political processes. The seminar presents current results of political, social and economic research. Work plan of the Political Sphere research seminar for the first half of 2013.

“Bilateral Relations between Belarus and Lithuania during the Period of Independence, 1992–2012”.

The seminar will discuss the main stages and problems in Belarusian-Lithuanian relations after the restoration of independence, including political contacts, economic cooperation, questions of security, border issues, historical memory and the role of civil society.

The event will take place on 28 March. Participants are invited to join the discussion and to exchange comments on the current state and prospects of relations between Belarus and Lithuania.
