The Political Sphere research seminar serves as a space for professional communication and exchange of ideas in the study of politics, as well as for improving the methodology and strategy of political-process analysis. Concepts of Nation and Politics in the BSSR, second half of the 1980s

Speakers: Andrei Kazakevich and Andrei Asadchy.

The research problem is to outline, in the context of the history of ideas, the concepts of the “Belarusian nation” and “politics” proposed by various public and political forces in Belarus in the late Soviet period. The presentation is based on research conducted in 2011-2012.
