“Political Sphere”
On 28 September 2009, the presentation of the Political Sphere Institute for Political Studies, as well as a press conference, will take place.

The Institute is based on the community that formed around the journal of political studies Political Sphere (www.palityka.org (http://www.palityka.org/)), which was founded in 2001 at the Department of Political Science of Belarusian State University.

Since 2006, the community has worked within the European Humanities University in Vilnius.

The core of the Institute’s activities will consist of research, analysis, publishing, and other academic and cultural work.

The aim of the Institute is the study of politics, the professionalization of research activity, the modernization of the teaching of political disciplines, the formation of a professional community of political researchers in Belarus, and the integration of Belarusian scholars into the regional, European, and international academic context.

The presentation and press conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza hotel, 13 Kirova Street.

Start: 17:00.
