Operation “Successor”: Who Will Become Lukashenka’s “Tame” President?
The constitutional reform initiated by the Belarusian regime is slowly approaching its final stage, the referendum.
But the closer this moment comes, the more this “reform” resembles “Operation Successor,” and the clearer it becomes that no one needs this reform.
Yet it is too late to refuse to hold it.
Unless something like a new wave of Russian military aggression against Ukraine gives Minsk an opportunity to change its plans without losing face.

These and other questions are answered by political scientist, director of the Political Sphere Institute, and senior researcher at Vytautas Magnus University Andrei Kazakevich.
