Call for proposals to organize sections/panels of the 6th Congress closes on 15 March 2016

The 6th International Congress of Belarusian Studies will take place on 7–9 October 2016 in Kaunas (Lithuania).

Sections (panels) may be devoted to the discussion of specific research problems or to the presentation of research results within particular disciplines or research areas. When accepting submissions, the Organizing Committee does not set strict thematic or disciplinary limitations, leaving representatives of the academic and expert communities free to articulate their own priorities and interests.

Sections (panels) may be disciplinary, thematic or highly specialised. Applications are also accepted for sections devoted to current public issues, round tables, master classes, presentations, etc.

The formation of sections and panels through an open call for proposals allows the International Congress of Belarusian Studies to meet the expectations and needs of the academic and expert communities.

The Organizing Committee invites research organisations and communities, as well as academic leaders, to take part in defining the thematic priorities of the next Congress.

Applications may be collective or individual. Interested institutions and organisations may also act as applicants.
