19 March: discussion “The Krajowa idea: reassessing its political and cultural significance”

afisha krajowcyThe Political Sphere Institute and the Belarusian Collegium, with the support of the Polish Institute in Minsk, invite you to a discussion and presentation of an anthology of Krajowa thought.

The discussion “The Krajowa idea: reassessing its political and cultural significance”, with one of the first researchers of the Krajowa idea, Jan Jurkiewicz, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, will take place on 19 March at 18:30 at the Monastyrski Hotel (6 Kiryly i Miafodzija Street).
Other participants include Ales Smalianchuk, Andrei Kazakevich, Ales Pashkevich and Ihar Babkou.
The discussion will address the place of the Krajowa idea in the political and intellectual history of the region, its main political and cultural concepts, and the use of its legacy in Belarus, Lithuania and Poland.

The discussion will be combined with a presentation of the electronic version of “Anthology of the Krajowa Idea: the Beginning of the Twentieth Century”, prepared by the Political Sphere Institute.
