25 YEARS OF “POLITICAL SPHERE”

We invite you to join an event organized by our colleagues to mark the 25th anniversary of the journal Political Sphere!

25 Years of Political Sphere: Looking Back to Look Ahead

🗓 30 October, 15:00–16:30, Vilnius

The first issue of Political Sphere was published in 2001. The journal publishes research in political science, history, international relations, and related disciplines.

Since then, Belarus has experienced several election campaigns, the protests of 2020, repression, and mass emigration. Research itself has also changed: how can we study a society in which people are afraid to answer questions?

During the anniversary event, participants will discuss whether research findings can still be trusted today and whether researchers can remain neutral.

🎤 Speakers: Andrei Kazakevich, Tatsiana Chulitskaya, and Andrei Yahorau.
