Experts of the Political Sphere Institute will also take part in the discussion together with the authors.

About the book
The monograph offers a broad spectrum of definitions of the concept of Europeanization: from “Europeanization of politics” and “Europeanization from above and from below” to the Europeanization of social practices, knowledge, and everyday culture.

All these strategies are placed by the authors in the Belarusian context in order to examine the conditions, possibilities, and prospects for their implementation in Belarus.

The objects of analysis include: the foreign and regional policy of the Republic of Belarus; official and opposition discourses; the value dimension of Belarusian society; “historical policy” and the potential of the concept of the “Empire of Central Europe”; materials on European themes in official and unofficial print media; and, finally, consumption practices in Belarus.
