EuroBelarus: “Studying at Vytautas Magnus University: Close, High-Quality, Affordable”

Opportunities for obtaining higher education at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas were presented to Belarusians by representatives of this Lithuanian university, Kęstutis Bartkevičius and Jurga Jonutytė.

Doctor of Sciences Kęstutis Bartkevičius began his presentation by describing the advantages of obtaining higher education in Lithuania.

He noted that the Lithuanian higher education system is part of the European educational space, which allows students to count on an individualized approach to learning and participation in exchange programs with other European and American universities.

Lithuanian universities offer a fairly wide range of educational programs in English, so virtually every foreign student can find in Lithuania a field of study that interests them.

Doctor of Sciences Jurga Jonutytė presented the educational programs at Vytautas Magnus University that are available to foreign students and taught in English.

For those wishing to obtain a bachelor’s degree, there are not that many options, only five: International Politics and Development, European Economy, Biology, Energy Technologies, and Community Development.

However, as the VMU representative assured, the list of English-language programs is constantly expanding.
