Call for nominations for the Congress Award for the best scholarly publication (until 11.4.21)

The Organizing Committee of the International Congress of Belarusian Studies announces a call for nominations for the Award for the best scholarly publication in the field of social sciences and humanities based on the results of 2020.

The aim of the award is to recognize the best achievements in the social, political, and human sciences, encourage research work, and contribute to improving the quality of scholarly research.

We invite representatives of the academic community to nominate the best scholarly publications for the Award and to contribute to the popularization of the achievements of Belarusian scholarship and to honoring their authors for these achievements.

Nominations may be submitted to [email protected] until 11 April 2021.

The award ceremony will take place on 2 October 2021 during the 9th International Congress of Belarusian Studies in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Details will be announced later.

The sponsors of the Award are the Belarusian Charitable Trust (London) and the Kipiel family (USA).

The Award is announced in three categories:
– History;
– Humanities;
– Social sciences: political science, sociology.

A separate competition is held for scholarly monographs and articles.
