A Series of Seminar and Lecture Courses within the Flying University Programme

The NGO “Centre for Social Innovation” and the Agency for Humanitarian Technologies offer a series of seminar and lecture courses within the “Flying University” programme for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The “Flying University” programme includes lecture and seminar courses aimed at mastering contemporary intellectual practices and knowledge on current Belarusian and European issues, which are necessary not only for people engaged in research and expert work, but also for politicians, civic activists, and practitioners in education and culture.

The following courses are offered:

    • * Methodological Colloquium: Reading Texts on the Methodology of Science (Dzmitry Halinouski)
    • * Programming Socio-Humanitarian Research (Aksana Shelest)
    • * Measurement in Humanities Research: Using Scales, Planning Experiments, Statistical Hypotheses and Inference (Alena Baradachova)
    • * Cultural Policy as Social Theory and a Development Programme for Belarus (Tatsiana Vadalazhskaya)
    • * Introduction to the Ideas, History and Geography of Political Science (20th-21st Century) (Andrei Kazakevich)
    • * Global Problems of Everyday Life (Modern Society in Search of Compromises) (Viachaslau Babrovich)
