The Belarusian Collegium, in partnership with the Political Sphere Institute (Belarus), the public associations Liberal Club and European Club (Belarus), Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), and the Institute of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Lithuania), announces enrolment for the new educational programme “European Union: Politics, Economy, Culture”. The programme offers instruction in the foundations of contemporary European politics, economy, and culture. Classes are taught by leading Belarusian specialists in the field. In addition to lectures and seminars, the programme includes master classes, practical sessions, and a summer school.
Classes will take place from 14 January to 31 May 2015 (every Wednesday from 18:30 to 21:30).
The programme’s summer school will take place in June 2015.
All those interested in acquiring new knowledge about the European Union are invited to participate. Priority is given to senior students and people with higher education under the age of 30.
The programme “European Union: Politics, Economy, Culture” is focused on mastering contemporary knowledge and techniques of intellectual work and does not duplicate existing programmes of state or non-state educational institutions.
The Collegium certificate does not replace a higher education diploma.
Study at the Collegium is free of charge.
Admission is competitive and based on the results of an interview. To receive an invitation to an interview, applicants must:
- Fill in the application form
- Write a motivation letter and attach it to the application form
In the motivation letter, you should describe your experience of studying European issues, your motivation for entering the programme, your plans for further professional career, and the role of studying at the Belarusian Collegium in your future life. The motivation letter should be about 0.5-1 page long.
