Call for individual applications to participate in the Fifth International Congress of Belarusian Studies (deadline: 18 May 2015)

The Organising Committee of the International Congress of Belarusian Studies announces a call for individual applications to participate in the Fifth Congress, which will take place on 2-4 October 2015 in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The application deadline is 18 May 2015.

The Congress is the most representative annual Belarusian academic and expert event. All major intellectual centres studying the society, politics and culture of Belarus take part in it. It is also an excellent opportunity to develop new research and public projects, exchange views and ideas, and establish informal contacts with expert and academic communities.

The mission of the Congress is to develop the community of scholars, analysts and experts and to promote a deeper understanding of Belarus in academic circles in the country, the region and the world.

You can take part in the Congress as a speaker by submitting an abstract of 2,000-4,000 characters, or as a guest without a presentation. Applications may also be submitted for the organisation of presentations of scholarly, cultural or publishing projects, exhibitions, etc.
