HOMO HISTORICUS 2019: Yearbook of Anthropological History
A new issue of Homo Historicus 2019 has been published.
Homo Historicus 2019 continues the tradition of the four previous volumes (2008, 2009, 2012 and 2016), with their focus on expanding an anthropological style of thinking in the analysis of the past. Most of the published materials address the relationship between the biography of science and the biography of the scholar, using examples from the lives and work of well-known historians M. Bich and J. Bardach, linguist A. Obrębska-Jabłońska, anthropologist J. Obrębski, geneticist A. Zhebrak and others. The volume also publishes previously unknown documents related to the 1863 uprising and communist repressions. The authors include well-known researchers from Belarus, Poland, Lithuania, Israel and Ukraine.
